Jordi Rubiralta derives his fortune from Werfen, a diagnostics company based in Madrid.
Founded by his late father Josep María Rubiralta and uncle Francisco in 1966, today the company covers diagnostics in hemostasis, acute care, transfusion, autoimmunity and transplants.
Rubiralta chaired the company until 2019 but remains on the board.
He led the expansion of Werfen in Germany and the U.S. with the acquisition of Tem and Accriva Diagnostics.
Rubiralta's family office, Yukon Capital, has carried out some of the most high-profile real estate transactions in Spain in recent years.
