Vasily Shikin is chief technology officer of AI-powered advertising technology company AppLovin, which went public on the Nasdaq in 2021.

He served as AppLovin's vice president of engineering for eight years before being tapped as CTO in 2020.

Shikin is one of eight billionaires from AppLovin, including the company's cofounder and CEO Adam Foroughi.

Prior to joining AppLovin in 2012, Shikin worked for four years as a software engineer at Device Anywhere, a cloud-based platform for testing and monitoring mobile websites and apps.

Born in Russia, Shikin has a master's in mathematics from Saint-Petersburg State University.
