Udo Schütz is the founder of Schütz-Werke, a German industrial packaging company that he founded in 1958.
Today the company manufactures products in packaging, recycling, energy systems and the aerospace industry.
Schütz-Werke has plants in the U.S., Brazil, Japan, China and Indonesia and employs 7,000 people.
Together with his two sons, he owns just under 75% of the company.
Schütz has given 25.5% of the company's shares to the family's charitable foundation Else Schütz Stiftung.
