Marc Rubiralta chairs Werfen, one of Spain's largest diagnostics company based in Barcelona.
He inherited his stake from his late father Josep María Rubiralta, who cofounded Werfen which later became a specialist in in vitro diagnostics.
Since becoming chairman in 2019, one of his notable deals include the $2 billion acquisition of U.S.-based Immucor.
His brothers Jordi, Luis and Xavier each own stakes in the company and are also billionaires.
Rubiralta is also president of Monterri, the investment company he owns with José Luis and Xavier.
