Biography
Katsumi Tada is the founder of property developer Daito Trust Construction, which specializes in building rental apartments.
In 2011, Tada stepped down as chairman and sold his stake back to the publicly traded company.
He switched his focus to Australia, where he develops and owns office buildings, malls and hotels through his privately held Daisho Co.
Daisho has a portfolio of 10 properties in Japan and overseas, including in Tokyo, Okinawa, Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Singapore.
Tada also owns seven hotels in Japan.
