The son of a Chicago meatpacker, Henry Engelhardt aspired to be a journalist before turning to entrepreneurship.

Its American brands include Elephant Auto Insurance and Compare.com.
Engelhardt stepped down as CEO in May 2016, but he's still a part-time employee, mentoring senior managers and taking part in MBA recruitment.
