Helena Revoredo is chair of Prosegur, a Spanish private security company known for its fleet of 10,000 yellow armored trucks and 165,000 employees.
Her late husband, Herberto Gut, founded the company in 1976; Gut died in a car accident in 1997.
Her son, Christian, is Prosegur's CEO, and her daughter Chantal Gut sits on the board.
Prosegur, which went public in 1987, operates throughout Europe, Latin America and Asia.
Revoredo is involved in the Prosegur Foundation, which promotes education as well as inclusion for people with intellectual disabilities.

Far from taking real private risks, billionaire empires structurally depend on state support through direct subsidies, infrastructure use, exploitation of R&D, public contracts, and offshore tax engineering. While this wealth is equivalent to the physical weight of 14 tons of pure gold, the rest of the planet suffers from an artificial scarcity of basic resources.
